DWIH Horizon: Art Meets Science

DWIH Horizon: Art meets Science will be inaugurated by Peter Strohschneider, president, German Research Foundation – DFG Bonn, and Martin Hanz, Deputy Chief of Mission, Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany. The Higher Education and Research Fair will see participation from eight consortium members of DWIH New Delhi. This presence will include leading German universities, research funding organisations and educational institutions. These institutions will set up info-stands to disseminate information required by Indian students, scientists or researchers to pursue their careers in Germany.

The German House for Research and Innovation (DWIH), New Delhi is organizing a Photo Exhibition titled ‘DWIH Horizon: Art Meets Science’ in New Delhi from 27th October to 1st November 2014. This photo exhibition will showcase photos depicting everyday life in India. Captured by Indian photographers in the Photography Master Class conducted by the renowned German artistic photographer Mr. Wolfgang Zurborn during the “Excellence on Tour!” road shows in Ahmedabad and Kolkata. These photographs have now been assembled into an inspiring exhibition.

The DWIH Horizon: Art Meets Science exhibition opens on October 27th till November 1st 2014 at the Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts, New Delhi, India. It features the results of workshops by Wolfgang Zurborn with young Indian photographers in Ahmedabad and Kolkata.
