Celebrating Black and White Photography with Gomma Books

Gomma has come a long way since the first Gomma Magazine came out in 2004. Throughout the years, Gomma has been actively promoting photographers and their work, both established and emerging photographers. We worked with internationally renowned artists, such as Roger Ballen, Anders Petersen, Michael Ackerman, Keizo Kitajima, and Daido Moriyama. The Gomma Grant is open to everyone. Any medium, black & white or colour, analogue or digital. Gomma's juror and editors are looking for consistency, personality, and courage.

MONO Trilogy is about celebrating that beautiful and timeless art medium that is black & white photography. It represents an invaluable contemporary snapshot of the black and white genre.

MONO Volume Two will showcase approx 250 pages of outstanding imagery, encased in an elegant and lushly black cloth hardcover.
The photographers selected for the new volume so far are the following:  Martin Bogren, Dirk Braeckman, Jean-Marc Caimi and Valentina Piccinni, Lorenzo Castore, Robert Hutinski, Nicolas Janowski, Gert Jochems, Jens Juul, Jon Lowenstein, Alexia Monduit, Paulo Nozolino, Igor Posner, Hideka Tonomura, Scott Typaldos, Ester Vonplon, Tereza Zelenkova, and Miron Zownir.

Words by cult figure Christian Caujolle and Ilgin Deniz Akseloglu.
