Felix Schoeller Photo Award 2015: Call for Entries

The Felix Schoeller Group was founded in 1895 and is headquartered in Osnabruck, Germany, with operations on a global scale, manufacturing specialist papers. With around 3.700 employees, over 440,000 tonnes of specialist papers were produced and sold in 2019.

International Award for professional photographers

Until 31 May 2015, professional and emerging photographers have time to get their work together for the second international Felix Schoeller Photo Award and upload it to the website. The themed categories remain the same as in 2013: portrait, landscape/nature, architecture/industry, photojournalism/editorial photography, and free choice/conceptual photography. The overall winner will be chosen from the category winners. Prize money of € 2,000 will be awarded in each category, and the overall winner can look forward to another € 10,000.

Again the emerging photographer prize is a special category in the international Felix Schoeller Photo Award. It will be awarded to emerging professional photographers, i.e. student or trainee photographers and photographic assistants. The winner of the 2015 Emerging Photographer Award will receive a non-monetary prize donated by Phase One, a Danish manufacturer of high-end, open-platform medium-format cameras. Phase One is going to give the winner the use of one of its camera systems for a month. The referable rental rate for the equipment included would amount to approx. €18,000.
